Welcome to my site ! My name is Candice Dollery and I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer.

I am from East London in the Eastern Cape.  After matriculating, I was gifted an unforgettable exclusive trip to Italy. I packed my little “point and shoot” film camera into my bag and headed off to Venice and Capri, where my love for photography began.

After my visit to Italy, Johannesburg became my home for the next 15 years.  I worked in a bustling corporate environment in Sandton and graduated with Diplomas in Marketing, Public Relations and Project Management. I completed a course in Photography, assisting my lecturer as a second camera at weddings on week-ends, thus gaining invaluable hands-on experience. I later joined the Montecasino Corporate Events team as Events Manager and continued my photography on week-ends.

A few years later, my husband and I decided to move to East London. It was a fresh start for our little family and I set up a studio in Beacon Bay to focus on wedding and studio photography full time. I have two children. My son has an old soul and is a qualified WAHL barber, who enjoys all things historical and vintage. My daughter is adventurous and works in the Super Yacht industry, traveling around the Mediterranean and to other exotic destinations.

I have over 20 years of photography experience and one of the best compliments I receive from clients is that they feel like they have known me forever after a session. I enjoy building long lasting relationships with my clients and have met so many incredible humans because of this career. I am grateful that my art allows me to create sentimental family heirlooms for others.
