Cultural Heritage: A Joyous Union emanates love and light in the Eastern Cape. Ketelwa looked every bit an African Princess on her wedding day. African traditional weddings allow me to experience and document the vibrant colours, rich traditions and joyful celebrations. Furthermore I can observe the beauty and the love that unites two families. Traditional weddings are festive and one of my highlights is capturing the bridal couple walking through the street, being followed by their cheering entourage of family, friends and excited local villagers.
