After capturing Sisana and Mandisi’s white wedding in Mvuzi and sleeping overnight at Dan’s Country Lodge, Lily and I awoke feeling refreshed and ready to hit the road again. After a hearty breakfast, we headed back home, and stopped at Butterworth to capture part of this delightful couple’s traditional wedding. Feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after a good night’s sleep, we trekked up a small hill where I found this little partly built brick house, which was a unique backdrop against their gorgeous ethnic traditional attire. Sisana looked like an African princess with her beaded head piece adornment and face paint with her African Prince dressed in matching outfit, beaded knobkierie in hand. I loved the surrounding landscape, green hills and gorgeous bushes with purple blooms. It was a pleasure spending more time with this special couple and their families again.
