When I first met Asa and Siya a few months ago for their engagement photoshoot, I immediately clicked with them. They both have such “larger than life’ personalities and Asa has such a kind, loving and gentle heart. We built a friendship over the months leading to her wedding day and on her special day, she called me her sister (such an honour). These lovebirds compliment each other so well and I know that they will always take care of each other and live a truly happy life together as husband and wife. This ishow their love story began”
“Asa moved from Port Elizabeth to East London in October 2008 and met Siya the following month. She was on her way to ‘catch’ a taxi when Siya noticed her and offered to give her a ride home. They exchanged telephone numbers and built a sound friendship for six months before dating. From the onset, she loved his quirky, playful sense of humour (which I got to experience during the photo sessions too). Although they often laugh at themselves, Siya is serious about his family and will do anything for them and Asa feels very loved by him. She knew he would pop the question one day and waited patiently for 8 years. In Jan 2017 he proposed and sent his uncles to her house for Labola negotiations. Nine months later they became husband and wife.
